Nurse Educator

FIZE Medical is a growing medical device company offers the first platform technology to remotely monitor and manage patients with an indwelling Foley catheter, providing unprecedented safety to both patients and their caregivers.

The Clinical Nurse Educator provides clinical support to Fize Medical clients and team members for the implementation of the Fize Medical products ensuring support services are provided in accordance with nursing standards and company policy. This role is based out of any large metropolitan area in the US.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provides sales and customer product support for existing and prospective customers;
  • Coordinates clinical trials and implementations with existing and prospective customers;
  • Conducts education as needed including producing training material for customers and Fize Medical team members;
  • Assists with training and orientation of new staff;
  • Collaborates with customers and internal staff to develop clinical policies and procedures;
  • Plan, execute and follow up on new accounts within company guidelines;
  • Communicates via telephone, e-mail, and on-sight with existing customers for education and training;
  • Maintains relationships with existing customers via telephone, e-mail and on-sight;
  • Participates in trade shows to promote the company line;
  • Educate potential and existing customers in the medical community;
  • Reports complaints, regarding company products and service per company policy.

Staff Development:

  • Educates company staff in clinical aspects as needed or requested;
  • Attends educational meetings , trade shows, or other as required by company policies;
  • Maintains knowledge base of ICU procedures, AKI monitoring.

Safety:

  • Follows proper infection control procedure while conducting training, and on-site education;
  • Reports accidents while on the job to the management staff per company policy.

  • Maintains confidentiality of necessary and proprietary information;
  • Thinks and acts calmly and logically to meet unusual occurrences of the job;
  • Understands and utilizes adult learning principles/concepts;
  • Maintains schedules and documentation of work Manages time efficiently and effectively;
  • Communicates timely and effectively with manager and company staff.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the State Board in which he/she practices;
  • BSN;
  • ICU experience;
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and make decisions use critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent skills in organization, documentation, interpersonal relationships and communication both verbal and written;
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fact paced environment.

Travel Requirements:

  • Requires overnight travel 100%;
  • Current driver’s license required;
  • Modes of transportation include automobile, train, taxi, boat, and airplane.

Planner

The Planner at FIZE Medical plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient production and distribution of our products. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the movement of materials through the production cycle to promote maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Areas of Responsibility:

Construction and monitoring of a production plan.
Verification of correct supply layout.
Release of RP running requirements – checking run validity, checking run-related issues, checking logistic data, and approving the run for logistic parties.

Conducting material simulation and handling shortages.
Opening work orders for picking and reporting (closing orders).
Performing inventory adjustments, including investigating the cause.

Material Management:

Updating SOP production and sales forecasts.
Releasing MRP runs – validity checks, checking run-related issues, logistic data checks.
Raising a flag on shortage in ongoing orders that are outside LT.
Reporting of production control orders.

Inventory Responsibility:

Meeting inventory targets and cycles.
Analysis and maintenance of EXCESS – monitoring the trend of excess inventory over time, making inventory adjustments for item conversions.
Responsibility for inventory counts and ongoing inventory adjustments – investigating the reason for the inventory correction and addressing the issue as needed.
MRB – opening and reporting MRB production control orders and performing transfers between warehouses.

Logistical Solutions:

Setting inventory quantities according to forecasts.
Setting US warehouse inventory, including full control of changes there.

KPI Performance Indicators:

Meeting delivery deadlines.
Inventory – inventory level.
Inventory – inventory write-off.
Logistics – logistic costs.

Job Requirements:

Full-time position.
Education – Industrial and management engineer/technician is an advantage.
Experience – At least 5 years in the medical companies’ supply chain field is an advantage.
Knowledge of EXECL, NETSUITE programs is a significant advantage.
Good English – a must.

Clinical Implementation Specialist

The Clinical Implementation Specialist at FIZE Medical is pivotal in achieving field sales objectives by educating current accounts and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to train staff and conduct trials on the FIZE kUO products. Additionally, as a part of the product marketing department, you will contribute to collecting and analyzing market feedback and processing this information to enhance product development and marketing strategies.

You are responsible for

  • Deep understanding of the technology and FIZE products
  • Achieving field sales objectives through servicing current accounts and customers
  • Delivering educational programs, product and procedural competencies
  • Supporting marketing related trade shows and vendor/hospital fairs
  • Driving disposable usage and train new users
  • Providing primary clinical training and education to customers. Assists in disseminating technical product information to customers.
  • Keeping abreast of new products in the market and of current and future Company products
  • Providing ongoing support for company-sponsored clinical/marketing trials and registries
  • Interfacing with Marketing, R&D and other internal groups to quantify needs and to provide intelligence to management on competitive products and company product enhancements

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Hebrew and English.
  • Clinical or technological background is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel in Israel and overseas and work flexible hours, including non-standard times.
